This sculpture depicts a horse as a chess pawn, capturing the playful, joyful expression the animal shows in response to natural stimuli. The work challenges the traditional image of the horse, usually associated with grace and nobility, instead presenting it as a distracted, unaware pawn in a larger game. Through themes of sexualization and ephemeral values, the artist highlights how mass distractions influence social perception, making us participants in a game that often does not belong to us. Entirely made of copper rings welded with Castolin and mounted on a base resembling a chessboard square, the piece masterfully combines technique and concept.
