Sculpture, Recycled Materials, and Movement... My Journey

Born in Lucca in 1981, I lived there until 2001, when I moved to Carrara to earn my sculpture diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts. I stayed there, beyond my studies, until 2009, and then returned to my hometown, where I still live and work today.

The use of recycled materials and materials collected from nature has always characterized my work. Beyond the ethical and ecological aspects, I have always been fascinated by giving new life to objects and materials that are no longer in use.

The Journey

This is the path I have taken, made of study, passion, and curiosity. From my hometown, Lucca, I took my first steps among shapes and materials, learning to listen to nature. Every experience, every encounter, has contributed to shaping my way of creating and expressing myself through sculpture.

The Direction

research

Research

The search for an action in my sculptures has developed into the creation of works in motion, where an action becomes an artistic manifestation occurring in front of an audience.

inspiration

Inspiration

Movement brings to life the concept one wants to express in the representation. In this way, I approached mechanics, fully integrating it into the design of my sculptures.

influence

Influence

My works are born from observing nature and its suggestions. I seek in the animal world and its natural behavior those values to which humans should aspire.

innovation

Innovation

The constant search for the most authentic form to express my vision has led me to develop my personal sculptural technique, which today defines my style.
