"My works offer a critical view on human nature through the observation of animal behavior in their natural environment"

I started by creating marble sculptures of various sizes, but soon my focus shifted increasingly towards reproducing multitudes. The “garment” offered by marble began to feel constraining, pushing me towards freer and more expansive forms of expression.

Later, I developed my own working method, integrating recycled materials and, above all, mechanics into the process, understood as a fusion of mind and movement. The satisfactions and recognitions I received began to clearly outline the path of my artistic research.

I then further perfected my techniques, creating a wholly original and handcrafted artistic method capable of accurately and poetically conveying the essence of the fascinating animal world.

I continue to shape my works, choosing the most harmonious path each time, while maintaining a curious and attentive gaze towards everything around me, always in search of the spark capable of igniting new inspiration.

Movement

Artistic manifestation in front of an audience

One of the most significant steps in my journey has been the integration of mechanics and movement into my sculptures. Mechanics understood as that intelligence capable of governing motion, orchestrating movement. Even the spontaneous movement provided by nature itself, which distributes it at its will.

Homage to Barsanti and Matteucci

On June 11, 2026, Lucca will honor Eugenio Barsanti and Felice Matteucci with an innovative sculptural work in Piazza Monsignor Emilio Maggini. I created this dynamic monument by blending art and technology: the sculpture will be activated by the water from the fountain to celebrate the ingenuity and scientific history of the city.
