One of the most significant steps in my journey has been the integration of mechanics and movement into my sculptures. Mechanics understood as that intelligence capable of governing motion, orchestrating movement. Even the spontaneous movement provided by nature itself, which distributes it at its will.

On June 11, 2026, Lucca will honor Eugenio Barsanti and Felice Matteucci with an innovative sculptural work in Piazza Monsignor Emilio Maggini. I created this dynamic monument by blending art and technology: the sculpture will be activated by the water from the fountain to celebrate the ingenuity and scientific history of the city.
